Early Music – Baroque Trumpet
New Music
“Cityscaping” was a commissioning initiative by composer Nick DiBerardino and The Brass Project that resulted in thirty-five new pieces for chamber brass, including works by Pulitzer Prize winner Aaron Jay Kernis, Rome Prize winner Sean Friar, and Princeton Professor Emeritus Paul Lansky. In addition to performing this new repertoire in dozens of concerts in schools, public spaces, and non-traditional concert venues, the project culminated in 2018 with the release of selections in the album, “Cityscaping.” Listen on your favorite streaming platform.
